  We stopped here for lunch on the way home from Minneapolis since my boyfriend loves Dairy Queen and I love ice cream. The girl at the counter was very friendly and efficient, but that's about the only good thing that I can say. The other guests were all "odd", to put it nicely. My boyfriend received his food about 10 minutes before I got mine and it took about 20 minutes total before mine arrived, even though there were only two other tables of customers there at the time. The menu was not a typical DQ menu, was very limited, and it felt more like a small town, independent drive inn. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it tasted like someone had made a thousand fish sandwiches before that and never changed the oil. We ate and got the heck out of there asap. As we were pulling out of the parking lot I told my boyfriend that the whole experience made me feel like I was in a movie. A Stephen King movie, that is.

  I'm on vacation with my parents and we stopped here today for lunch. I don't eat meat and there are no meatless options for meals so I asked if they could make a grilled cheese, I was rudely told that they can't do it, no reason was given other than it wasn't on the menu. Which I already knew. So then I asked if they could give me a plain cheese burger with no meat which they hesitantly agreed to. When I got my food they gave me a raw bun with raw cheese. Not impressed. How hard is it to grill a damn cheese. Also the ice cream cones are totally stale.
